Once a man had what he called the best wine ever made. He bragged enthusiastically to everyone about how delicious it was to the taste. One day he invited a friend over to his wine cellar to see a bottle of this wine.
The friend asked, "May I buy a bottle of this wine from you?"
The man replied, "No, I'm sorry, but this is my only bottle."
The visitor asked, "Well, where did you get this wine from?"
"It was here in the cellar when I bought the house," replied the man.
How many bottles of the wine were here?"
"Oh," said the man, "this one bottle."
"Then, if this is the only bottle, and you have not drunk any of it, how do you know it is the best wine ever made?"
"Well," replied the man, "because that is what the previous owner told me."
Do you know the Truth? Or do you only know about the Truth? Religion or spirituality can point you toward Truth. To know Truth, you must taste it for yourself. And Truth is not an idea or collection of ideas. Truth lives, so is so much more. But I cannot tell you what this means, only you can invite this wholly into yourself, to know in being known, one knowing.
